There is nothing more hackneyed than writing about something that everyone has already heard so I will attempt to be creative and use snow as the inspiration for the story today.
Some people don't like snow but I have a profuse love of it. My parents think that what it snows I become a malingerer but truth be told I always malinger to a point. That being said let me disabuse you of the notion that I am lazy for I am most certainly not lazy. I just don't like my occult job and life. This puts me in a tenuous position with my boss and land lord. I'm fairly certain the only reason the big guy keeps me around is that my parents were able to propitiate a favor from him to keep me about. I'm not sure what will happen when they are gone. They have started showing great decrepitude.
I think my biggest problem with my job is that people think I'm artless; which is quite insulting as a doll maker. If only I had more autonomy and could show my creativity! Alas I work for a fascist. Despite all of his talk of forgiveness he has never been penitent when he has made mistakes. I often fulminate against this hypocrisy.
Despite my troublesome job I do laud the snow man maker. He never seems to be sated with the snowmen he builds and is always striving for a more inventive approach. I envy him for he avoids the din of the work shop. The snow man maker has an unusual mein; through which you can nearly see the cogs in his head turning. It is as if he is in a constant state of creative cerebration. At one point I was his apprentice but due to an unfair recrimination after voicing my observations I have been banished to the doll maker shop. Being his apprentice was the zenith of my short life. You might be saying by this point that I apotheosis the snow man maker but that isn't true. I simply envy his ascendant. He is the most free of all the elves in the north pole. Partially due to his adroitness. Everyone; even Santa has great veneration for him. I aver that he is the most skilled elf here.
